URBAN COMPETITION – NEW YORK 2007 – TOWER MUSEUM IN MANHATTAN
The tower museum proposed by the competition announcement was conceived as a memorial to the first wave of immigrants of the last century who arrived at Ellis Island. As it was designed, “Wave Memory” not only fulfilled the required function but also had a particular characteristic: it was wrapped in a grid that, through some nozzles, could produce a fine mist of water vapor, so that images concerning the commemoration of the event could be projected on this nebulized water mist
